Support Our Troops - Red Shirt Friday 1

First Lieutenant Jonathan Edwards is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and is currently stationed in Fallujah, Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. He serves as the supply officer for the 3rd Marine Air Support Squadron (MASS-3).

Motorcars Ltd has always “Supported the Troops” in one form or another over the years, and about a year ago, we started wearing “red shirts” on Fridays in a show of a company and personal expression of “Support for Our Troops”. The number of our people wearing red shirts has steadily grown to the point where it is hard to not find a red-shirted member of our staff on Fridays.

Support the Troops

The Great Santini has always “Supported the Troops”. Recently, we decided to take that support to the “next level” by hosting a “Support The Troops” BBQ and “Red Shirt Friday”. As a result of publicity of the BBQ, we have had opportunities to expand our involvement and to add our support to an organization that really needs our help in supporting our men and women in harm’s way.

We feel it is the duty of every American to support our troops regardless of political fervor for or against the military. Most people simply do not know what to do. We have discovered that the most tangible results happen when money is raised for “Care Packages” or for organizations that can keep the momentum going.

91st Psalm Bandana

Purchase a 91st Psalm Bandana for a Brave Marine!

There are many stories throughout the years of Marines and soldiers praying the 91st Psalm and God protecting these brave men and women in the heat of battle. During our 1st Red Shirt Friday BBQ here a Motorcars LTD, the Marine Moms donated over 80 of these Bandanas to send to the 3rd Marine Air Support Squadron (MASS-3) stationed in Fallujah, Iraq. These were well recieved and the Marines of MASS-3 appreciate the thoughts and prayers these bandanas represent.
